Our ordinary shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange (the "NYSE") under the symbol AMCR and our CHESS Depositary Instruments ("CDIs") are traded on the Australian Securities Exchange (the "ASX") under the symbol AMC. At June 30, 2021, there were 108,928 registered holders of record of our ordinary shares and CDIs.

Share Repurchases

Share repurchase activity during the three months ended June 30, 2021 were as follows (in millions, except number of shares, which are reflected in thousands, and per share amounts, which are expressed in U.S. dollars):

(1)On February 2, 2021, our Board of Directors approved a $200 million buyback of ordinary shares and CDIs during the following twelve months. The table above reflects the final purchases under this program which occurred in the fourth fiscal quarter of 2021. In addition, on August 17, 2021, our Board of Directors approved an additional $400 million buyback of ordinary shares and/or CDIs during the next twelve months. The timing, volume, and nature of share repurchases may be amended, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

(2)Includes shares purchased on the open market to satisfy the vesting and exercises of share-based compensation awards.

(3)Average price paid per share excludes costs associated with the repurchase.
