Market Information and Dividends

Our common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) under the ticker symbol BBY. In fiscal 2004, our Board of Directors (“Board”) initiated the payment of a regular quarterly cash dividend with respect to shares of our common stock. A quarterly cash dividend has been paid in each subsequent quarter. On March 4, 2025, we announced the Board’s approval of a 1% increase in the regularly quarterly cash dividend to $0.95 per share. Future dividend payments will depend on our earnings, capital requirements, financial condition and other factors considered relevant by our Board.

Holders

As of March 17, 2025, there were 1,866 holders of record of our common stock.

Purchases of Equity Securities by the Issuer and Affiliated Purchasers

On February 28, 2022, our Board approved a $5.0 billion share repurchase authorization. There is no expiration date governing the period over which we can repurchase shares under this authorization. During fiscal 2025, we repurchased and retired 5.8 million shares at a cost of $500 million.
