Item 5. Market for Registrant’s Common Equity, Related Stockholder Matters and Issuer Purchases of Equity Securities.

The Company’s common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “IEX”. As of February 13, 2026, there were approximately 7,472 stockholders of record of the Company’s common stock and there were 74,347,824 shares outstanding.

The Company’s payment of dividends in the future will be determined by the Company’s Board of Directors and will depend on business conditions, earnings and other factors.

For information pertaining to securities authorized for issuance under equity compensation plans and the related weighted average exercise price, see Part III, Item 12, “Security Ownership of Certain Beneficial Owners and Management and Related Stockholder Matters.”

On September 17, 2025, the Company’s Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of an additional $635.0 million of the Company’s common shares. This approval is in addition to the prior repurchase authorization of the Company’s Board of Directors of $500.0 million on March 17, 2020. These authorizations have no expiration date and exclude fees, commissions, excise taxes and other expenses related to such common stock repurchases.
