Item 5. Market for Registrant’s Common Equity, Related Stockholder Matters and Issuer Purchases of Equity Securities

Motorola Solutions' common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The number of stockholders of record of its common stock on February 2, 2018 was 28,697.

Information regarding securities authorized for issuance under equity compensation plans is incorporated by reference to the information under the caption “Equity Compensation Plan Information” of Motorola Solutions’ Proxy Statement for the 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. The share repurchase program does not have an expiration date. As of December 31, 2017, the Company had used approximately $12.3 billion, including transaction costs, to repurchase shares.
