(1)On November 8, 2017, the Company's Board of Directors, authorized a stock repurchase program permitting repurchases of our outstanding shares not to exceed $650 million in the aggregate (the “$650 million stock repurchase program”), subject to any restrictions specified in the Credit Agreement and/or Indentures governing the existing Notes. This plan was effective through January 26, 2022.
(2)On January 27, 2022, our Board of Directors authorized a new stock repurchase program permitting repurchases of our outstanding shares not to exceed $2,200 million in the aggregate (the “$2,200 million stock repurchase program”), replacing the $650 million stock repurchase program, subject to any restrictions specified in the Credit Agreement and/or Indentures governing the existing Notes. There is no expiration date for this program. As of April 2, 2022, $1,533 million remains available for repurchase under the $2,200 million stock repurchase program. Refer to Note 7, “Stock Repurchase Program” in the notes to the condensed consolidated financial statements included herein for further information.
