Bristol Myers Squibb common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (Symbol: BMY).

Holders of Common Stock

The number of record holders of our common stock at January 31, 2022 was 34,417.

The number of record holders is based upon the actual number of holders registered on our books at such date based on information provided by EQ Shareowner Services, our transfer agent, and does not include holders of shares in “street names” or persons, partnerships, associations, corporations or other entities identified in security position listings maintained by depository trust companies.

(b) In May 2010, the Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to $3.0 billion of our common stock and in June 2012 increased its authorization for the repurchase of our common stock by an additional $3.0 billion. In October 2016, the Board of Directors approved a new share repurchase program authorizing the repurchase of an additional $3.0 billion of our common stock and in November 2019 further increased its authorization for the repurchase of our common stock by approximately $7.0 billion. In February 2020, the Board of Directors approved an increase of $5.0 billion to the total outstanding share repurchase authorization. In January and December 2021, the Board of Directors approved an increase of $2.0 billion and $15.0 billion, respectively, to the share repurchase authorization.
