Item 5. Market for Registrant’s Common Equity, Related Stockholder Matters and Issuer Purchases of Equity Securities.
The Company’s common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “IEX”. As of February 18, 2020, there were approximately 5,416 stockholders of record of our common stock and there were 76,205,390 shares outstanding.
Our payment of dividends in the future will be determined by our Board of Directors and will depend on business conditions, our earnings and other factors.
