The Company’s common stock is traded on the NASDAQ Stock Market LLC (“NASDAQ”) under the symbol NTAP.

Price Range of Common Stock

The price range per share of common stock presented below represents the highest and lowest intraday sales prices for the Company’s common stock on the NASDAQ during each quarter of our two most recent fiscal years.

As of June 2, 2021 there were 456 holders of record of our common stock.

Dividends

The Company paid cash dividends of $0.48 per outstanding common share in each quarter of fiscal 2021 for an aggregate of $427 million, $0.48 per outstanding common share in each quarter of fiscal 2020 for an aggregate of $439 million, and $0.40 per outstanding common share in each quarter of fiscal 2019 for an aggregate of $403 million. In the first quarter of fiscal 2022, the Company declared a cash dividend of $0.50 per share of common stock, payable on July 28, 2021 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on July 9, 2021.

In May 2003, our Board of Directors approved a stock repurchase program. As of April 30, 2021, our Board of Directors had authorized the repurchase of up to $13.6 billion of our common stock under our stock repurchase program, and on May 28, 2021, authorized an additional $500 million. Since inception of the program through April 30, 2021, we repurchased a total of 340 million shares of our common stock for an aggregate purchase price of $13.3 billion. Under this program, we may purchase shares of our outstanding common stock through solicited or unsolicited transactions in the open market, in privately negotiated transactions, through accelerated share repurchase programs, pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 plan or in such other manner as deemed appropriate by our management. The stock repurchase program may be suspended or discontinued at any time, and it was suspended for the first half of fiscal 2021 due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We reinitiated our stock repurchase program in the third quarter of fiscal 2021.
