1Earnings from continuing operations for 2014 include a pretax gain of $211.4 million (net of $16.5 million of disposition related charges) referable to the sale of our cement and concrete businesses in the Florida area as described in Note 19 “Acquisitions and Divestitures” in Item 8 “Financial Statements and Supplementary Data.”
